Gaelic Conversation Group
The Gaelic conversation group Abair Thusa meets at the Glenearn Campus, Perth
on Wednesday afternoons from 2-4pm.
19th March – Cèilidh
This ceilidh will be on ZOOM
At the moment we have Paul Anderson on the Niel Gow fiddle and Shonna Donaldson singing, Norrie McIver playing and singing, Aileen will sing and tell some stories, Joyce Ramsay will play the box - and various friends and members of the society will sing/ play. If you would like to take part can you let me know so that we can build this into the evening - which should last from 7.30 pm to 9pm. IT IS FREE!!!!!

Then just go through the questions!!!
When you have finished – if all has gone correctly – you should get a message from them saying ‘ you’ve got tickets’ – and you should receive another message from EVENTBRITE to say – YOU HAVE GOT TICKETS!!
You will get a link about the ceilidh before it happens – which you click on to get in – before 7.30 on Friday the 19th
It will be great to see as many people from the Gaelic Society there as possible!!!! - BUT – you will need ZOOM to get in – so download that before the ceilidh – simply put ZOOM into your title bar to download it.

The Society holds Cèilidhs once a month over the winter at St. Matthew’s Church Hall, Tay St., Perth, where you can hear a variety of Gaelic singers and instrumentalists,
but no dancing.
The Society encourages young members of Perth and District Pipe Band to play at the cèilidhs.
The Perth Pipe Band is led by the Society’s Honorary Piper - Pipe Major Alastair Duthie. Admission is £6 for Members and £7 for Non-Members – for an evening’s entertainment plus refreshments!
Membership for a year is £3 - fantastic value!!
